The DVB Cruise Logger is intended for comfortable automated recording of DVB-S, -S2, -C and -T transport stream files all over the world in order to test DVB receiver devices. At the push of a button, the DVB Cruise Logger software automatically records the selected frequencies, based on typical default frequency lists. In case of DVB-T recordings, the files can be tagged with the current GPS coordinates, if available, to facilitate the localization. This robust and easy-to-use software is suited for developers and engineers in field tests and laboratories, but also for the non-technical staff, e.g. trainees travelling abroad.

In addition to the recording software, TARA distributes suitable lightweight DVB receiver boxes and a GPS mouse, which can be connected to PC, Laptop or Netbook via USB.

 

DVB Cruise Logger Software

• Easy-to-use for automated DVB service scan and recording

DVB Receiver hardware & GPS mouse

To complement the DVB Cruise Logger recording software, TARA distributes suitable hardware packages for DVB reception:

DVB-T Cruise Logger Hardware with GPS:

• DVB-T Diversity Tuner with two separate antennas for increased reception quality (USB 2.0).
• GPS mouse for storage of recording position (USB 2.0).
• Suited for usage during travel: no external power supply required.

DVB-C/-T Cruise Logger Hardware:

• DVB-C/-T Tuner Box with antenna input; incl. DVB-T antenna (USB 2.0).

DVB-S/-S2 Cruise Logger Hardware:

• DVB-S/-S2 Tuner Box with F-connector input (USB 2.0).
