IBC 2025 – Our Hybrid DVB-I Solution with SmarDTV and Montage
Join us at IBC 2025! The global media, entertainment, and technology industry will gather once again in Amsterdam from September 12th to 15th, and we’re pleased to be part of it! This year, we are working with SmarDTV and LZ Montage Technologies to showcase a user-friendly solution of hybrid DVB and OTT delivery based on DVB-I.
At the heart of this demo are two cost-efficient set-top boxes from SmartDTV and LZ Montage Technologies, featuring our DVB/IPTV Solution. SmarDTV showcases it on the Montage Symphony 4 system-on-chip, while Montage presents it on the Ultra HD capable Montage Symphony 6.
The showcase includes:
- DVB-I channel list installation with support for regionalization
- Hybrid channel lists for transparent switching between DVB broadcast and OTT delivery
- A compact and scalable set-top box implementation ready for commercial use
This solution illustrates how DVB-I can serve as a reliable technical enabler for unifying traditional broadcast and broadband delivery, reducing integration complexity while enhancing the user experience.
