DVB-I and HbbTV: A Device Manufacturer Perspective in the EBU Working Group
With the LiveOn TV application, we developed a flexible and powerful tool to prototype and demonstrate DVB-I distributions. To share best-practices around HbbTV and DVB-I, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has launched the “HbbTV Interoperability group” in September 2020.
In cooperation with the German broadcaster Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR), we contributed our expertise in implementing DVB-I clients to this group. To do so, we held a presentation about LiveOn TV in one of the group meetings in December 2020.
