Feature Extensions on the Montage SoC
The Montage SoC is a very attractive SoC for STBs in cost-sensitive markets. While the hardware costs are low, customers are still demanding a high level of functionality in their products.
We at TARA Systems have now extended our supported feature set in the Inaris TV Solution on Montage RTOS and Linux platforms to fulfil our customers’ needs. This has led to a significantly improved user experience of the PVR ready and timeshift feature on Montage Linux platforms.
